Urban Decay Haul: Naked Palette and Eyeshadow Primer Potion

Hey dolls, I want to quickly share a mini haul with you guys. I really want to branch out into purchasing makeup from various brands other than Mac and high on my list was definitely getting some Urban Decay. And what better way to start out than getting the coveted, cult favorites from UD: The Naked Palette and Eyeshadow Primer Potion. Its not surprise that I love neutrals so this is the perfect palette for me. I will get into details of the shades in my review so don't worry. I've also been looking to try a new eyeshadow primer although I have no problem with the mac painterly paintpot that I regularly use. This primer had great reviews so I decided to get it. I completely forgot that the Naked palette comes with a mini though. Reviews and swatches coming soon!

Do you own the Naked palette or Primer Potion? What do you think about them?

  3. I have the naked 1 n 2 ! I think they are both a great investment. I did not get a primer potion with mines ...I think different editions come with different things- I got a e/s brush. But other than that I do own the primer potion and I use it more than my MAC painterly paint pot lol...Good Stuff!

  5. i think you'll love the naked palette, it's so versatile from neutral to smokey, it's def a good buy

  6. I own both. For the record, Do not use the mini UDPP that comes with the palette! IDK if it's bc its older or what, but it does not work the same as the one in the squeeze tube you bought!! I had to learn that the hard way. Luckily, I already knew how awesome the UDPP was before I tried the mini so it didn't deter me away from it forever..

That being said, I love both the palette and the UDPP! They are both staples in my day to day life!

  7. I got the Naked palette way back when they still had the original packaging for the UDPP... it was probably one of my best buys ever! Not my first UD Palette - I have the Deluxe (which is awesome) and Sustainable palettes.... but I use Naked the most hands down! I recently started venturing into indie brands... have yet to be disappointed... check em out ... :) especially Fyrinnae!

  9. I purchased mine 2 months ago and i absolutely love it! It's the best palette for anyone who loves neutrals. I also am venturing out of MAC, want to try brands like Makeup Forever, Inglot and Lancome.

  11. I was recently checking their website to see what the retail cost for it was ($50 USD) because Trinidadian retailers were selling it for $500 *insert mean side-eye here*. I was not about to spend that amount of cash on make-up ̶(̶j̶u̶s̶t̶ ̶y̶e̶t̶)̶. In the meantime though I can live vicariously through you. So with that said I can't wait to see the swatches :). Oooh and congrats on your recognition by Bloggers.com, it is nice to see a Trinidadian blogger get recognized for the fabulous work they put forth on the interwebs. Toodles.

    1. i know. i initially thought of just purchasing here but the mark up is ridiculous. i ordered online and thank you so much. I was really shocked when i saw it as well. I felt very proud in that moment

  12. i have this Naked and I rarely reach for it. Its not that its not pretty, its just that i still reach for my mac shadows lol. Im not too happy about the primer potion tho. I have really oily lids and it didnt really help. I love The nars smudgeproof primer instead. My sister only uses the UD primer potion so maybe you'll like it also

  14. This is one of my favorite eye shadow palettes however I'm probably in the minority here but I am not a fan of the primer potion and I much prefer the E.L.F eyeshadow primer!

  16. I have both and use my naked palette literally everyday! It was so worth the money. I like the UD primer as well but use it sparingly since the one I have is travel size and there's not alot in it.
